Models, pricing, reasoning and access for the GLM API on APIMart
The GLM API gives you programmatic access to Zhipu AI's GLM models. On APIMart you can call glm-5.3, glm-5.3-flash, glm-5.2, glm-5.1, glm-5, glm-4.7 and glm-4.6 through the same OpenAI-compatible chat completions endpoint and one API key.
GLM-5.3 is Zhipu AI's current flagship model, released on August 18, 2026. It shares GLM-5.2's base model, gains from post-training and always reasons before answering. Zhipu AI positions it for coding, agent work and security research.
GLM-5.3 Flash is Zhipu AI's fast, low-cost model in the GLM-5.3 generation, released on August 26, 2026, with 320B total and 18B active parameters. On APIMart it is the cheapest GLM model, suited to high-volume tasks such as classification, extraction and drafting.
Zhipu AI lists GLM-5.3 at $1.40 input and $4.40 output per 1M tokens; APIMart's list price is the same and Gold members pay $1.12 and $3.52. For GLM-5.3 Flash, Zhipu AI lists $0.15 and $0.50, while APIMart lists $0.075 and $0.25 and Gold members pay $0.06 and $0.20 (October 2026). Failed requests are not charged.
You pay for input tokens and output tokens separately, at the per-1M-token rate of the model you call. On GLM-5.3 and GLM-5.3 Flash, cached input tokens are billed at a lower cached-input rate. The table above shows each model's live rates; context limits follow the pricing table.
Use GLM-5.3 for coding, debugging, complex reasoning and agent workflows where quality matters most. Use GLM-5.3 Flash for high-volume or latency-sensitive tasks where cost matters more, then switch only the model ID if a task needs the flagship.
GLM-5.2 (June 16, 2026) and GLM-5.1 (April 7, 2026) target long-horizon tasks, GLM-5 (February 12, 2026) targets complex systems engineering, and GLM-4.7 (December 22, 2025) and GLM-4.6 (September 30, 2025) are the lowest-cost GLM-4 models. Choose one if your workflow is already tuned to it; otherwise start with GLM-5.3 or GLM-5.3 Flash.
No. GLM-5.3 always runs with reasoning on. To make answers faster and cheaper, set reasoning_effort to low. According to Zhipu AI, requests that still send thinking set to disabled fail on GLM-5.3, so remove that setting when you migrate.
Yes. Point the OpenAI SDK at https://api.apimart.ai/v1, use your APIMart API key and set model to a GLM model ID such as glm-5.3. Requests use the standard chat completions format, including the tools field for function calling.
Sign up for APIMart, open the API Keys page in your dashboard and create a key. The same key works for every GLM model and every other model on the platform, with pay-as-you-go billing and no subscription.
No. There is no free quota for the GLM API on APIMart. Billing is pay-as-you-go: failed requests are not charged, and members get 20% or more off every price.
No. Under APIMart's Terms of Service, your data is not used to train AI models or shared with third parties except as needed to provide the service. Requests are processed only to serve your API calls.
